Originally, I traveled to Redwood City because I was looking for a place to dance. I had heard they had a good dance hall. I fell in love with this city because the town was remarkably cute the weather was perfect and the people I met were welcoming and extraordinarily friendly.

I've lived here since the1940's. Some of my favorite stomping grounds are now out of business, but Hotel Sequoia and Harry's Hofbrau - two of Redwood city's Iconic institutions - are both still thriving. I wanted to honor my favorite city with this espresso.
